If you haven't guessed, my name is Matt.  I've been a performing musician and private woodwind instructor since before the years started with  a 2.  I earned my bachelor's degree in jazz studies from Capital University.  I began repairing woodwinds in 2011 and quickly learned that I'm quite passionate about it.  

It has long been my belief that Art creates itself through the artist by means of the artist's medium of choice.  In line with that philosophy I feel it's my duty and responsibility to eliminate any and all obstacles between the muse and the final product - music.  An instrument not in optimal working order is such an obstacle.

I'm married to a truly amazing woman, Kara, the love of my life.  I have two wonderful kids, Ben and Alice.  When I have free time I like to garden and travel...and practice.
